Originally a working farmhouse up until the 1950s until it was lovingly restored, this cottage rental sits in a valley surrounded by forest and hills with the Sierra de San Pedro nearby and the Portuguese border just a 15-minute drive away.

The cottage’s exterior features traditional brickwork, a stone patio, and tile roofing giving it the quintessential Spanish “casa rural” look. The interior displays a homey mixture of the original stonework and modern furnishings. There are two bedrooms, one with a double bed and the other with two twin beds. An extra bed or crib can be provided on request, bringing the maximum capacity to five guests. The rooms are spacious and bright with bedside tables, wardrobes, and dressers as well as wonderful views of the valley and the gardens.

The living room showcases the original stonework as well as old farming tools as decorations giving the cottage a cozy, country ambiance. It makes for a great hangout after a day in the mountains as guests can relax in front of the television while keeping warm beside the wood-burning fireplace. The kitchen comes fully equipped with a tiled surface that provides plenty of space for several chefs sharing cooking duties, as well as a stove, microwave, refrigerator, and cooking utensils.
