The Beulah Valley and the surrounding area offers a wide range of activities for every season. Guests do not have to venture off the property to see amazing wild animals such as black bears, deer, and birds. It is a great location for wildlife photography or birdwatching, so enthusiasts should bring along their binoculars! The vicinity is surrounded by vast forests and hills so guests can try hiking, mountain biking, horseback riding, and rock climbing. Nearby lakes and rivers are excellent for kayaking, canoeing, swimming, rafting, and fishing. During the winter months, cross-country skiing, snowshoeing, and riding snowmobiles are very popular. There are several ski resorts that offer high-quality slopes for skiing, snowboarding, and tubing.
There is a golf course located a short drive away in the town of Pueblo, so golfers should remember to bring their favorite clubs. Beulah and Pueblo also have various restaurants, bars, and antique shops while other local attractions include Bishop's Castle and The Royal Gorge Bridge and theme park.
