This getaway cabin is located on Daniel’s Lake, Alaska, and can accommodate eight guests for a revitalizing lakeside vacation full of boating, fishing, and water sports. Featuring exposed logs throughout its interior, the cabin has two bedrooms and one bathroom. Each bedroom contains three twin beds, two of which can be combined to make a king-size bed. There is also a queen-size sofa bed. The bathroom features a jetted bathtub, a shower, a toilet, and a sink. Linens and towels are provided.

In the open-plan living area, guests will find large windows providing scenic views of the lake, along with the above-mentioned sofa bed, an armchair, a flat-screen television with satellite service, a gas fireplace, a dining table with seating for six, and a kitchen area. The latter is equipped with an oven, a stove, a refrigerator, a toaster, a coffeemaker, a microwave, and a dishwasher, and it comes stocked with breakfast food items. Other amenities include Wi-Fi and an entrance ramp.

Outside, guests will find a covered deck with a barbecue grill.

With Daniels Lake just footsteps away, guests will be well-positioned to enjoy a variety of activities on the water. To explore the lake, guests can rent out paddle boats, canoes, rowboats, and motor boats right from the host. Guests can also go fishing on the lake, which is renowned for its rainbow trout.

For more canoeing, boating, and fishing opportunities, guests can visit Stormy Lake and Captain Cook State Recreation Area, where they can also go swimming or search for semi-precious agate along the shore. While exploring the recreation area, guests can keep an eye out for its abundant wildlife and birds, which include moose, coyotes, wolves, Beluga whales, harbor seals, beavers, and muskrats, as well as bald eagles, sandhill cranes, trumpeter swans, warblers, and arctic loons.
