On the Southeastern coast of Hawaii's Big Island this glamping rental is a lush 1 1/2 acre property in a quiet neighborhood that is near a black sand beach. Located at the back of a small subdivision the traffic is primarily walkers. The showers are outside, one under the sky, and the other under the spreading branches of a giant tree. Large lanai with swing chair, kitchen with island, and 24x 28 living area with a queen bed and couch. A 10x16 deck is built up in the tree top. Tikis abound. There are beehives on the property and in the neighborhood.

The toasty black sand of Kehena Beach warms guests’ feet as they take a relaxing stroll along the coast. Glampers also have the option of participating in various water sports, such as swimming in the serene water, scuba diving, surfing, and snorkeling.
Less than an hour away lies the town of Hilo, where guests can dine in quality restaurants, and browse the local shops. Furthermore, the town is home to many interesting museums and outdoor possibilities, such as a visit to the Wailuku River State Park, or marveling at the exquisite, picturesque Rainbow Falls. Visitors cannot come to the area without taking a scenic drive along the coastal Red Road. There are farmer's markets on Sunday at Maku'u and Wednesday night market at Uncle Robert's with free live music, dancing in an open air venue, and dozens of food vendors serving all nationalities of food. Guests may even see some drop in hula artists take to the dance floor and share part of the Hawaiian cultural heritage. The hosts have two locals who act as guest concierge while on site and can direct to all manner of fun things to do and places to see. -
