This beautiful cabin is nestled in the woods on Alabama's Dauphin Island. Dauphin Island is a 14 mile-long barrier island. It is famed for its incredible white sandy beaches that stretch for miles, such as Public Beach. The island has a myriad of ecosystems, from the beach to dunes to swamplands. The Audubon Bird Sanctuary is located on the island, which acts as a stopover for birds migrating from Central and South America. Guests can also find the National Recreational Trail in the sanctuary, a three-mile trail system through the protected forest. Dauphin Island does not have a single stoplight and instead is navigated by bike paths and walking trails.
