The Rio Grande del Norte National Monument/Orilla Verde Recreation Area nearby is amazing! So is Ojo Caliente Spa & Mineral Springs. Taos Mountain has great skiing and hiking, and then there's Abiquiu, Ghost Ranch, Echo Amphitheater, the Enchanted Circle, Taos, and Santa Fe. You'll be staying in an unusually tall old-growth juniper and piñon forest that was once heavily inhabited by natives. The sandy soil's great for horses and we encourage you to bring yours! And Taos Pueblo is 40 minutes away.Activities near Carson
