Dillingham

Alaska is a fantastic state to visit for any glamper looking for adventure, incredible nature, wildlife, and more outdoor sports options than you can shake a stick at. Dillingham is on Nushagak Bay at the mouth of the Nushagak River, and unusually, is only accessible by plane or boat, as it isn't connected to the road system. With its incredible proximity to Wood-Tikchik State Park, Dillingham is ideal for any keen sports fisher! All five species of Pacific salmon, as well as freshwater rainbow trout, arctic char, and Dolly Varden, are plentiful here. Or head to Walrus Islands State Game Sanctuary to see the wildlife in their natural habitat. And you can also pop into the Sam Fox Museum to learn more about the history of the area!
