This historic farmhouse vacation rental is located on 24 acres of lush, secluded New York farmland, surrounded by endless green grass, towering trees, and a tranquil pond. Inside, this 137-year-old farmhouse near Copake Lake is beautifully updated and finished with stained gray wood and comfortable, homey furniture. Able to accommodate up to six guests in three bedrooms, with one bedroom including a king- size bed, and the remaining two featuring a double bed in each.

If guests need additional sleeping space, an extra bedroom with two single size beds can be arranged for a fee and approval prior to arrival. The farmhouse includes a half bathroom on the second floor with a toilet and sink and an additional bathroom on the main floor with a sit-down shower and sink.

The main floor, featuring the kitchen, living area, dining room, and the sunroom, is a lovely gathering space to spend a nice evening preparing dinner and relaxing in front of the fireplace. The kitchen, which beautifully finished with gray slate and wood walls with copper wall hangings, includes everything that guests will need to prepare a delicious gourmet dinner. Appliances include a stove, oven, microwave, refrigerator, dishwasher, toaster, and a coffeemaker, along with essential cooking supplies, cutlery, and pantry items. A fireplace can also be found in the kitchen, just in case guests need to warn their feet while preparing dinner.

The dining area is located in the corner of the house in the sun room, with floor-to-ceiling windows so there is plenty of natural light that with great views of the surrounding landscape. Adjacent to the sun room is the living area, with big comfortable couches, lounge chairs, a coffee table, a fireplace, and a television with satellite cable programming and a DVD player.

Outside, guests also have the option of preparing meals on the gas grill and enjoying dinner on the patio with plenty of outdoor furniture. They can pass the night sitting by the fire pit, or reading a book relaxing on the hammock by the pond.

This traditional and secluded property has all of the luxurious amenities that glampers would need on their comfortable stay in upstate New York. Equipped with Wi-Fi, satellite television programming, central air conditioning, heating, and three separate fireplaces throughout the accommodation. Linens, towels, and a hairdryer are provided for guests free of charge throughout their stay. The property also has a laundry room where guests can use the washing machine, clothes dryer, and iron at their own convenience. The kitchen is fitted with all necessary appliances and kitchen utensils so guests can prepare meals for themselves on-site.

Outside, guests can enjoy the vast grounds including a pond, hammock, fire pit, hammock, and large patio with plenty of comfortable outdoor furniture overlooking the rest of the property. The patio is great for cooking dinner on the barbecue and having a glass of wine during a warm summer night.

The property is close to many small family farms where guests can enjoy a visit with the farm animals, buy local produce, and learn about the landscape.National parks, forests, and mountain ranges such as the Catskills, the Berkshires, Taconic State Park, Mount Washington State Park, and Beebe Hill State Forest are excellent locations during warmer months for walking, hiking, mountaineering, mountain climbing, mountain biking, horseback riding, and taking wildlife photos. Due to the close proximity to the Copake Lake and the Hudson River, water sports such as swimming, kayaking, canoeing, boating, waterskiing, and fishing are popular pastimes in the area. This property is located near nine golf courses and driving ranges, so golf enthusiasts can choose from a wide selection of terrain that will suit their fancy. Glampers old and young can also enjoy a night of miniature golf at the many courses nearby.

Winter is just as popular among visitors as the summer because the surrounding ski resorts open their doors for the season. Downhill skiing and snowboarding are popular on the slopes, and cross-country skiing and riding snowmobiles are more common on the flatter terrain.

If guests wish to have a night on the town, the city of Albany is just an hour drive away, where guests can have a bite to eat or a drink at one of the many bars and restaurants, or they can see a concert at a music venue. Albany is also home to many museums and historical sights, so guests can take a tour around the city and learn about the local history.

This property is not pet-friendly. There is a standard cleaning fee of $100; however, for bookings with five guests or more, the cleaning fee is $200. There is a refundable damage deposit of $500.

The minimum stay is two nights but there is a three-night minimum stay for the following dates:
