This idyllic waterfront cabin retreat is situated on Heart Lake in New York and can accommodate up to six guests. There are two bedrooms and one full bathroom in this charming cabin. The first bedroom has a fabulous queen-size bed, and the second bedroom has two twin-size beds. The bathroom features a toilet, a sink, and a shower. Pillows, blankets, and linens are kindly provided by the host, but guests do need to provide their own towels. Other amenities include heating and free parking on the premises.
The inviting living area has a coffee table and a plush sofa that can be converted to a bed for additional sleeping space. The kitchen is equipped with everything guests might need to feel at home, including a stove and oven, a microwave, a coffeemaker, and a refrigerator and freezer. Guests can enjoy their meals around a formal wooden dining table with seating for six. Outside, guests will find a scenic picnic area with a fire pit as well as easy access to Heart Lake and an abundance of nature trails.
Guests will be able to immerse themselves in natural beauty while still enjoying modern conveniences such as an equipped kitchen and bathroom facilities. The property has an outside picnic area with a cozy fire pit, easy access to numerous hiking trails, and access to Heart Lake. Guests are able to use the facilities in the High Peaks Information Center, which includes a retail shop and equipment rental.

Nearby Nordic centers provide miles of groomed trails for cross-country skiing and Whiteface Mountain Ski Resort, one of the top-ranked ski resorts in the Northeast, is only a 20-minute drive. Other popular wintertime activities include ice skating on the nearby Olympic Oval, ice climbing, and ice fishing on nearby lakes. Guests visiting in the fall can catch observe the breathtaking Adirondack foliage.
The area is home a number of Olympic venues including the Olympic Jumping Complex and the Lake Placid Bobsled Experience. Other options include Adirondack-themed mini-golf courses, the Adirondack Experience Zip Line, disc golf, and horseback riding.
