Tucked alongside the northern edge of Western Colorado's beautiful Grand Mesa – the world’s largest flattop mountain – the property offers breathtaking views and over 1,600 acres of mountain terrain. The location provides an amazing variety of downhill mountain biking trails in the summer and over 250 inches of light powder snow each year in the winter.
For a family ski trip in Colorado, guests will not find accommodation more well-suited to their needs than this tiny house rental. Colorado ski vacations are better enjoyed together and this impressive lodging can house up to eight guests. Inside, the main bedroom boasts a queen-size bed and two double beds are situated in the lofted bedroom. There is also a sofa bed in the living room and one full bathroom with a toilet, a sink, and a shower.
In the living space guests can relax on the comfortable seating after a tough day on the slopes. There is also a kitchenette area with all the appliances guests may need to cook up a quick meal including a refrigerator, a stove, and all basic utensils and equipment.
Outside, there is a large deck where guests can sit with a warm beverage and rest their legs, or they can head to the communal fire pit area to socialize with other glampers after a day at one of the best mountain getaways in Colorado. Positioned just steps from the main chairlift, this Grand Mesa accommodation sure makes one of the best places to go in winter. One key to relaxing is being comfortable and confident knowing your accommodations have been thoroughly and professionally cleaned and prepped for your stay. As part of Powderhorn Resort’s mission to maintain a safer, more comfortable environment for our guests and staff, we have instituted our Caring*Clean practices throughout the resort. Caring*Clean procedures and standards go beyond the general cleaning practices typically established for the industry. In addition to the obvious health benefits, a key reason we have adopted the Caring*Clean protocols is so you can have the peace of mind that will allow you to get the most out of your time here. Caring*Clean includes: Cleaners will take extra care and time to change cleaning solutions more frequently and to extensively wipe down surfaces with disinfectant solutions. Most reusable materials such as pens and collateral material will be removed from rooms to reduce the odds of handling items previously handled. Extra bath linens will be provided in each room to eliminate daily housekeeping service so once a guest checks in, they can be confident the room occupants are the only people in the room. As has always been resort policy, bed linens will be freshly washed with sterilizing techniques for each new guest. When possible, rooms will be left unoccupied for 48 hours between guests. Hand sanitizing stations will be placed around the resort for guest and staff use to reduce the possibility of germ transmission. HVAC filters will be changed with increased frequency. Where and when possible or practical, windows will be open to promote fresh air circulation in indoor spaces. Common area surfaces will be wiped down with disinfectant solution with increased frequency.
