Nature enthusiasts can make their way to Kachemak Bay State Park where they will be able to hike, bike, or horseback through the rugged terrain before sitting down for a lovely picnic lunch. Glampers should be sure to take along their cameras as wildlife viewing opportunities abound. As guests make their way through the rugged terrain they may have a chance to see bald eagles, sandhill cranes, song sparrow, moose, deer, and black bears.
If glampers opt to hike along the coast they may be able to spot a passing whale pod, sea otters, or sea lions. Water sports lovers will be able to go glacier kayaking and river rafting, while keen fishermen can make their way to Homer Spit to cast their lines.
