Guests can cozy up with a good book next to the fireplace in the shared great room, while the high ceilings, log accents, and wooden furnishings add to the inviting atmosphere. Additionally, breakfast is included and is served every morning. The freshly-cooked breakfast is made with organic fruits and vegetables grown on the property. There is also a shared kitchen for cooking additional meals.
Outside, there are hidden gems waiting to be discovered. The greenhouse has a shared hot tub, perfect for after an adventurous day outdoors. There is also a pond with a canoe available for guests to use, a fire pit, and gardens. There is a large deck with seating and a barbecue that overlooks the beautiful property and mountains. Caribou Hills Trail system is also close by and offers great snowmobiling in the winter and ATV riding in the summer. Additionally, bear viewing trips, aerial tours, or simply hiking the peninsula’s many trails are all popular ways of seeing the stunning Alaskan landscape and its wildlife.
The nearby larger towns of Kenai and Soldotna are great stop-offs for dining experiences, museums, art galleries, shops, and other cultural events.
