This beautiful holiday cottage is the perfect place for couples or families to really get away from it all. Set between Te Araroa and Hicks Bay in New Zealand, there is space for four guests. From the rental, guests have stunning views of the coast, and there is an abundance of wildlife in this secluded spot. Guests can visit the East Cape Lighthouse, which is one of the most easterly points on earth.

There is one bedroom with a queen-size bed and the room is nicely decorated and extremely homey. There is a second twin room with an ensuite bathroom in the main house should guests need the extra space. From the bedroom, guests can enjoy the views through the large windows that also offer lots of natural light. There is a small kitchenette area with a sink and a microwave for guests to use. The hosts provide breakfast and dinner can be arranged upon request.

The cottage is surrounded by the beautiful garden and wildlife of this unique location. With cows grazing in nearby fields and the paradise ducks that raise their families on the site's pond, guests can really enjoy the sense of seclusion and nature here. This is an idyllic place to indulge in some coastal activities and to explore one of the most beautiful areas in the world.

This beautiful cottage has a lovely flower-growing area where the hosts produce protea and leucadendron for the cut flower market. Guests can take a short walk to admire the wildlife here. The hens on the property produce eggs that the hosts use to prepare breakfast for guests every day, and guests can also organize dinner through the hosts via prior arrangement. The cottage is entirely self-contained giving guests as much privacy as they want throughout their stay. There is a television with Sky in case of a rainy day, or for a movie night. Wi-Fi is also available.
