This cozy getaway is located near Monongahela National Forest, West Virginia, and can accommodate two guests. There is a bedroom and an ensuite bathroom. Nestled in between two mountains, far away from the hustle and bustle of everyday life, this glamping getaway sets the perfect stage for taking in wild and wonderful West Virginia. Whether it's sitting in a rocking chair on the wraparound porch breathing in the fresh mountain air and getting lost in the breathtaking mountain views or stargazing from the shared hot tub at night, guests won't be disappointed. For those who want a closer look at the stars, there is a telescope. Glampers can meander around the lush, green property, relax in one of the many common areas, play a game of pool in the game room, or enjoy a gourmet dining experience with wine pairings. This property even has a massage therapist on site. There is truly something for everyone.

To keep guests entertained, there is also a book, video, and music library along with a pool table, a table tennis table, and a horseshoe pit. In the common game room, there is a television with Direct TV and Wi-Fi is available throughout the property.

There are several packages that allow guests to include local activities as part of their stay. It is also possible to customize a package. Some of the packages available include a Cooking School Weekend, Bird Watching Weekend, a Climb Via Ferrata Experience, a Girlfriends' Weekend, a North Fork Mountain Adventure, or a Raft and Relax Package.

The hosts will provide customized itineraries on request to include local and regional attractions in the Potomac Highlands.

The hosts can prepare gourmet picnic lunches for a reasonable price. Gourmet Picnic Lunches are a big favorite for the lunchtime meal or those arriving too late for normal dinner times. These can be prepared in a backpack to take with you on your hike.

Casual Dining is offered on Sunday through Friday evenings.

There are a variety of craft beers for sale with meals or to enjoy. The hosts also offer domestic and imported wines by the bottle or by the glass. Guests are welcome to bring their own wines to enjoy in their room or in any of the common areas.

Special event planning is also available. From weddings, family reunions, special interest events, to business meetings, the hosts can coordinate and provide logistics for all on-site and off-site events and activities, making special events stress free and relaxing. The hosts can provide a wide variety of activities for all ages from enjoying a rocker on the porch, to fishing, hiking, scrapbooking, touring caverns, horseback riding, zip lining, rock climbing, rafting, or a relaxing massage.

The property also can be a customized wedding experience. Guests should visit the property before deciding to book it as a wedding venue.

There is also a separate conference center for business events that will accommodate up to 40 people for meetings, meals, or a presentation.

Harper's Old Country Store is 35 minutes from the rental. Mount Storm Lake, a thermal heated lake, and the Dolly Sods Wilderness Area are both an hour away.

The Monongahela National Forest, which surrounds the property, boasts an abundance of wildlife, wildflowers, birds, smallmouth bass, and trout. For those who prefer a quiet day of relaxation, the wraparound porch, rocking chairs, and specular view of the Smoke Hole Canyon await.

Hiking, fishing, rock climbing, rafting, scenic drives, caverns, skiing, and zip lining are all within a short drive. For a truly unique experience, guests can go scuba diving at Mt. Storm Lake which is a thermal heated lake at an altitude of 3,244 feet. The Monongahela National Forest is one of the most ecologically-diverse areas in the country with an elevation ranging from 1,000 to 4,800 feet and offers hundreds of miles of hiking trails. Climbers will be delighted by all the routes available on Seneca Rocks. Guests can step back in time at Harper's Old Country Store, located right in front of this important West Virginia Landmark. The Top Kick's Military Museum features an expansive selection of restored military equipment.
