This rustic getaway is yours in complete privacy. Bear Creek runs right next to the cabin creating beautiful sounds of nature. You have an entire acre to yourself. The vintage fridge and antique wood burning stove set the perfect functional ambiance. Electric heat is provided, as well. The cabin has a microwave and an electric tea kettle. Note that the stove and oven are non-functioning and no kitchen supplies are provided. Running water is available across the bridge in the Wash Hut.
The space
The Cabin is one of eight individual cabins. Guests will have complete run of the 8 acres, including the pond with use of the peddle boat. Complete rustic comfort. Totally off-grid (although most cell phones work here) - Exactly how you would hope for a rustic Alaskan cabin to be. The ground floor has a queen size bed and a single rollaway bed. If you have additional guests who are very adventurous, you can send them on up the ladder to the queen size bed in the loft (note: the low ceiling, no railing, and access only by ladder in the loft).
Guest access
A shared electric sauna is just across the bridge, which makes a perfect end to your day. The entire property is yours to explore.
Other things to note
This cabin is a dry cabin (no indoor running water), but there is a Wash Hut across the bridge which offers hot showers and indoor plumbing.
Once you book, we will text you with a confirmation. Within 2 days of arrival, you will receive another text with information on how to expedite your check-in process. The link texted will include information on the latest WiFi password, shower code access, hours of the lodge and restaurant, how to get extra towels, and information on check-in.
