This Cabin is one of our largest, most family-friendly cabins here. Situated directly on Bear Creek and Bear Creek Pond, this comfortably accommodates five guests. Experience a warm wood fire in your own wood burning stove, then nestle into your own plush bed in the Cabin. Guests always rave about the fire pit experience they have 'round the fire pit each night, roasting s'mores as they share the day's adventures around the fire.
The space
You'll have full access to all 8 acres on the property plus hundreds of acres of adjacent Kenai Borough property. With epic hikes all around all ending on the Turnagain Arm, you can never get lost.
The Cabin is ideal for families and groups traveling together. This cabin is situated directly on Bear Creek Pond with Bear Creek itself right outside. The shared Wash Hut with hot showers and indoor plumbing is right next door.
This fantastic retreat will have you dreaming of simpler days in Alaska, with miners and trappers and wildlife galore.
Guest access
The entire 8 acres is open to our guests. Our property borders the borough land with hundreds more acres of amazing hiking and exploring, all ending at the mouth of the ocean, so it's impossible to lose your way.
Our guests will also have free access to Bear Creek Pond, our private body of water, with pedal boat and canoe access. We provide life jackets for all guests.
Be sure to bring your camera! This property is a photographer's dream with beautiful sites and quirky touches all throughout.
Other things to note
WiFi is available in the lodge’s restaurant and deck right next door.
Kindling and fire will be stocked in your cabin if you want extra heat.
Once you book, we will text you with a confirmation. Within 2 days of arrival, you will receive another text with information on how to expedite your check-in process. The link texted will include information on the latest WiFi password, shower code access, hours of the lodge and restaurant, how to get extra towels, and information on check-in.
