The secluded setting means that guests will need to come prepared with supplies during their stay, but the hosts have ensured that guests will have access to a wide range of amenities to help them feel at home. There is no running water but rainwater is collected and stored on barrels for guests to use. There are fuel and a generator for power, as well as a chest freezer for fish storage.
There is a camp toilet in the cabin, and guests will also have access to the new, impeccable main outhouse. There are also showers at the property.
The hosts supply kayaks for exploring the waters and a small boat to use for fishing.

Guests will be able to disconnect from real life and enjoy a remote getaway on their own on four private acres on a beautiful cove. Whale Island measures 17 square miles and is very secluded. It is located adjacent to Raspberry and Afognak Islands and is populated primarily with deer. In addition, the incredible views on offer provide the perfect backdrop for glamping and guests should be sure to bring their cameras with them so that they can take photos to show loved ones back home.
From the island, guests can head off from the launching points for halibut charters and go fishing while exploring the waters. There are also kayaks for glampers to take out on the water to try and spot whales in the ocean. Guests will also be able to enjoy trips to the nearby islands where they can explore the rugged terrain in a different location.
