This Cabin is ideal for people wanting the privacy of their own Alaskan cabin with many modern comforts. This 2-bedroom cabin is entirely yours. It is situated directly next to Bear Creek and is just steps to Bear Creek Pond. The cabin has 2 queen size beds, a full-size couch pull-out, a twin-size couch pull-out, and a single roll-away bed. With your own deck, you can sit for hours watching the activities of the creek with an eagle's nest right next to the front door.
The space
This Cabin is one of our eight private cabins. You will have full access to the Bear Creek Pond with its peddle boat and canoe. Visit the restaurant, Dirty Skillet, for a memorable Alaskan visit as you experience an authentic mining camp meal. You may also want to try the little cabin sauna which turns on with the flick of a switch. Walk the entire property, and be sure to bring your camera! The entire property is extremely photogenic. Complete rustic comfort. Totally off-grid (although most cell phones work here). Exactly how you would hope for a rustic Alaskan cabin to be.
Guest access
The Cabin is one of eight individual cabins here. Nestled directly next to Bear Creek itself, this cabin features electric heat as well as an indoor wood stove for an extra cozy feel. This two-bedroom cabin is completely yours to yourself, and it is located right next to the lodge's adorable sauna. You will have total privacy with many modern conveniences.
Other things to note
WiFi is available in the lodge’s restaurant right next door, both inside the restaurant and on the deck itself.
This is a “dry cabin” with no indoor plumbing. There is a shared wash hut on the property with hot showers and toilets nearby.
Once you book, we will text you with a confirmation. Within 2 days of arrival, you will receive another text with information on how to expedite your check-in process. The link texted will include information on the latest WiFi password, shower code access, hours of the lodge and restaurant, how to get extra towels, and information on check-in.
