About this place
This luxurious rustic beach cabin rental sits on the MacDonald Spit in Alaska—the perfect rental for up to three guests, with one full and one twin bed, and one full bathroom. On the 30-minute, scenic water taxi ride to the cabin, guests should keep an eye out for otters, whales, and other wildlife which can also be seen from the cabin window. Guests will find that this cabin provides all that is needed, with space to rest and unwind. However, guests will never want to spend much time inside with such a spectacular outside setting. The cabin has a small kitchen, which along with the barbecue outside, gives guests the tools to prepare anything from a cup of coffee, a snack for the day, or a family dinner.
Outside, there are Adirondack chairs, clam rakes, and buckets. Guests in the past have loved waking up and going tide-pooling or clamming. Guests also can enjoy taking the rowboat and kayaks out in the bay, which are included in the rental price. Or after a day of adventure glampers can lay in a hammock beneath the trees, relax in the hot tub or sauna and then sit by the campfire and watch an awe-inspiring sunset setting on the beautiful Alaskan spits.
This property offers guests a variety of facilities and amenities to make their stay more memorable. There are a rowboat and kayaks for guests to use, as well as a beach fire pit for campfires while stargazing. All cabin rentals come with a propane grill and gas included.
