Just a short drive outside of Cleveland and Akron, this park is full of natural beauty. There are many trails criss-crossing the park making it easy to cover lots of terrain. The Ohio and Erie Canal Towpath Trail runs through the park for around 20 miles and is popular with bikers and joggers. For bikers, there is also the East Rim Mountain Bike Trail, designed for off-road biking, and the Summit Metro Parks’ Bike & Hike Trail, which is better for families and kids. Make sure to visit the many waterfalls in the park, the most famous of which is Brandywine Falls. With about 125-miles of trails in the park, there is plenty of space and trails for all ages and abilities.
